Description
This is a example product. We build every panel for the project it belongs to. This page shows what our simpler panels usually contain.
The panel drives the conveyor gearmotor(s) through a variable-frequency drive. The VFD gives a soft start and stop and sets the line speed from the panel. VFD also protects motors from overload. One panel can run several conveyors. We test the panel together with the conveyors before shipping.
Photoeye start and stop (AUTO)
We can add a pair of photoeye sensors that start and stop the conveyor without an operator. The first sensor sits at the infeed, the second at the outfeed.
-> When product reaches the infeed sensor, the conveyor starts.
-> When the outfeed sensor has seen no product for a set time, the conveyor stops. The delay is adjustable.
Upstream machine should have separate sensor for detecting, when the line is full.
Control options
-> Speed potentiometer on the panel door for setting line speed
-> Input for emergency stop buttons mounted along the line
-> Input for a remote operator station, where the buttons sit away from the panel
Scope
We supply, build and test the panel. Field wiring, installation and commissioning are the customer’s responsibility and are carried out on site by a qualified electrician, in line with local regulations. Motor and sensor cables are not included unless agreed otherwise.
